Introduced in 1987, Italy’s dot IT country-specific TLD is very popular both locally and in the English-speaking world. The reason is that the domain is a pronoun, which can be used for forming creative and interesting domain names – write.it, youcanmake.it and so on. In view of the fact that .IT domains are not offered directly by IT-NIC, the Registry that controls this top-level domain name extension, such a domain can be secured through a 3rd-party domain provider, such as ours.
